Service Description

Free forming Coil-built Vessels with clay! Youth welcome with paid adult supervision. All participants will have the chance to explore various decorative techniques using coils. These unique coil vessels will be curled, twisted and folded. Sizes and shapes will vary depending on how coils are stacked on top of one another. Coiled Pottery can be used decorative or around the house inside and out for plants and storage. Once projects are completed, they will be dried, bisque fired and glazed by TCP staff and then glaze fired. All participants will be able to choose a glaze color of choice. Bring a bottled water and hand towel. All other materials provided. Clay, bisque fire, glaze and glaze firing included. Students return in approximately 3 weeks to pick up their completed work. Students will be notified when work is ready for pick up, or you may contact the studio after 3 weeks for an update. Cancellation policy: Cancellations receive a 50% refund or postponement to a later class, if cancelled 48 hours prior to the beginning of the first class. Sometimes things do break in the kiln, however, staff make every effort to guide students for a successful build.
