Coil-Built Vessels / Planters

Service Description

Free forming Coil-built Vases & Planters with clay! All participants will have the chance to explore various decorative techniques using coils. These unique coils will be curled, twisted and folded. Sizes and shapes will vary depending on how coils are stacked on top of one another. Coiled Pottery can be used decorative or around the house inside and out for plants and storage. Once projects are completed, they will be dried, bisque fired and glazed by TCP staff and then glaze fired. All participants will be able to choose a glaze color of choice. Bring a bottled water and hand towel. All other materials provided. Clay, bisque fire, glaze and glaze firing included. Students return in approximately 3 weeks to pick up their completed work. Students will be notified when work is ready for pick up, or you may contact the studio after 3 weeks for an update.
